The City of Coquitlam began working with Herrainco in 2004 to develop a new city logo representing its aspirations for growth. The word mark was designed to convey the more cosmopolitan aspirations for Coquitlam, while representing the city’s roots as a pleasant, family-oriented community. The identity is extensive, and in the first year saved the City over 50% in print production costs, increased awareness of the City's qualities among residents, and generated increased awareness among other municipalities and the public in general.
