Herrainco gets WIK*D

After 2015, Herrainco merged with Ion Brand Design in Vancouver. After that point, Casey Hrynkow worked with Ion and others and began building up WIK*D Design Thinking for Social Change. She is using design thinking tools to help non-designers consider and solve problems in fresh ways.

During this time, Casey completed a master’s in liberal studies at Simon Fraser University, and her research thesis lookee at how we might use design thinking tools to help reduce the stigma around homelessness.

In 2020, after completing her degree, Casey presented her work in a TEDxEmilyCarrU talk. She also gave a talk at CreativeMorningsVAN.
