To launch a premium coated paper that would compete with the best in the world, Island Paper Mills needed something really big—praiseworthy, in fact.
We named the product Bravo. The premise of the brand is “what is praiseworthy”. We featured four Vancouver superstars in art and design, Martha Sturdy, Niels Bendtsen, John Fluevog, and V6 Glass Artists. We designed and produced two large-scale books that demonstrated challenging printing techniques to push the limits of the paper. Around that, we built a major roadshow featuring guests from the books, along with a designer moderator to interview them. We travelled
to 15 North American cities promoting the paper launch.
